NEWS FLASH!  This just in!! When one of the scheduled speakers became ill and had to cancel, Greg Kinney, new Education Coordinator for the Palm Springs Air Museum contacted docents and everyone he knew.  Voila! A friend of a friend knew a real life, honest to goodness Rosie the Riveter!  Rosie Potts of Yucca Valley will join Vivien Eddy, a WASP who flew a P-63 during WWII.

 Both will speak at Saturday’s commemorative program honoring the contributions of American Women in Time of War.  Harold Williamson moderates. Come hear these heroines’ real stories.  Current and past military ladies with proof of service get in free.

WHERE: Palm Springs Air Museum, 745 N. Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs
WHO:  Vivien Eddy, P-63 pilot during WWII; Rosie Potts, a riveter at Douglas in Riverside;
WHAT:  Program on American Women in Time of War, followed by Flight Demonstration **

Sponsors include the City of Indian Wells.  *With proof of service: photo, military id, etc.  ** Flight subject to weather conditions

Admission price ranges from $5-$12 dollars. *Free admission for current & past military ladies with proof of service

Children under 6 and active military with ID are free.
