Upper Limit Aviation Now Has Three Locations For GI Bill Approved Pilot Training

Upper Limit Aviation is a helicopter and fixed wing flight school located at Salt Lake International Airport in Salt Lake City, Utah, Cedar City Municipal Airport, Cedar City, Utah, and Memphis International Airport in Memphis, Tennessee.

Training under FAR Part 141 and Part 61 in Class Bravo airspace and exclusively partnered with institutes of higher learning, ULA is uniquely poised to provide its students comprehensive high altitude flight training.Contracting with private individuals, companies and the US Forest Service, ULA also provides services under its FAA multi-pilot 135 Air Carrier Certificate, and its 133 External Load and 137 Hazmat certificates. Teaching and working within the helicopter community, ULA continues to prove itself as a leader in the aviation industry.Helicopter and Fixed Wing Training .

As a FAR Part 141 and Part 61 facility, Upper Limit Aviation offers a rigorous helicopter and fixed wing training programs with courses that take students through Private to Certified Flight Instrument Instructor (CFII) and beyond. ULA uses a consistent and standardized curriculum, which include proprietary, FAA approved, course syllabi. In addition to its exclusive affiliation with Institutes of Higher Learning, ULA offers various FAR Part 61 Courses that lead to a standard college degree. This allows ULA to train international students and offer Veterans Benefits Under Chapter 30 and Chapter 33 of the GI Bill. Upper Limitís flight training program in Utah introduces students to flying in mountain terrain and to the unique wind and weather conditions associated with it. Most courses are taught at high-density altitudes (above 5,000 ft.), allowing for increased instruction in power management and aircraft operation in power and lift limited situations.

GI Bill Pilot School

 Located at the Salt Lake International Airport (SLC) and Memphis International Airport, ULA operates in Class Bravo (B) airspace. This offers students daily practice in communication with air traffic control in busy and highly regulated airspace.

FAR Part 141 special helicopter curricula courses are also offered by ULA, they include:

R44 Transition,
SFAR 73 Transition.

Upper Limit Aviation (ULA) is uniquely partnered with Institutes of Higher Education to offer a Professional Pilot Program for both helicopter/rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft.

Both locations offer FAR Part 61.  ULA offers Part  141 training at the Salt Lake City location. In addition to obtaining an Associate of Science (AS) degree in the Professional Pilot Program, a or Bachelors Degree (BGS or BIS) students enrolling into our partner college will have access to the financial aid, student loans, academic counseling, and support infrastructure to be successful.
